We are developing the medical technology of tomorrow.
In interdisciplinary teams from clinic, industry and science, we research and develop solutions and technologies for image-guided minimally invasive medicine.
Our aim are innovative, patient-friendly, high-quality and specifically required diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diseases in oncology, neurology and cardiology. To this end, clinicians define the need and interdisciplinary teams research and develop customised solutions that are tested and integrated into patient treatment.
Our vision is to improve healthcare of today and tomorrow as a research and innovation centre for image-based medicine.
The public-private partnership is formed by Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Siemens Healthineers AG and the STIMULATE Association with over 40 members from the medical technology industry and science.
As part of the European Interreg Europe project RISEMED4EU, project partners and stakeholders visited the MedTech ecosystem in Helsinki in June 2026. The aim of the site visit was to learn about successful approaches to innovation, technology transfer and collaboration between the healthcare sector, research and industry.
