02.-09.11. Medical Journey Through Time Exhibition at Magdeburg city library
In interdisciplinary teams from clinic, industry and science, we research and develop solutions and technologies for image-guided minimally invasive medicine.
Our aim are innovative, patient-friendly, high-quality and specifically required diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diseases in oncology, neurology and cardiology. To this end, clinicians define the need and interdisciplinary teams research and develop customised solutions that are tested and integrated into patient treatment.
Our vision is to improve healthcare of today and tomorrow as a research and innovation centre for image-based medicine.
The public-private partnership is formed by Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Siemens Healthineers AG and the STIMULATE Association with over 40 members from the medical technology industry and science.
On 29 October 2025, a specialist event on the topic of ‘Transformation of the European healthcare system: from start-up financing to groundbreaking medical devices’ took place at the Representation of the State of Saxony-Anhalt at the European Union in Brussels.

Starting on November 2, 2025, you can immerse yourself in the “Medical Journey Through Time” exhibition at the Magdeburg City Library for one week. Together with 3ios, transPORT, and STIMULATE, historical and modern exhibits from the field of medical technology will be on display, establishing and explaining interesting connections between yesterday, today, and tomorrow. Admission is free during the city library's regular opening hours (Mo-Fr 10-19:00, Sa 10-13:00).
At the first foundersINDUSTRIES event on 6 November 2025 at the Haus der Wirtschaft, young founders and innovative start-ups from Saxony-Anhalt will meet with regional employers' associations. Five selected start-ups will present themselves in compact pitches (10–15 minutes). This will be followed by a direct personal exchange with the participating associations.
