The results obtained at the Research Campus STIMULATE through interdisciplinary teamwork are specifically channelled into knowledge and technology transfer in order to make the results usable for international science, industry and society.

SCIENCE - ECONOMY - sOCIETY

Examples of our transfer activities are:

  • our Spin-offs
  • the new Transfer Room initiative transPORT
  • Knowledge transfer in Teaching and Training
  • utilisation of expertise for new Research Projects
  • discourse with society in various event formats, such as: Campus Pitch Medical Technology, Long Night of Science, Future Day - Girls' & Boys' Day, Saxony-Anhalt Transfer Fair
  • Translation: Transfer of research results into clinical use

When translating research results into clinical practice, the STIMULATE partners aim to transfer the findings from research into practical applications for clinical practice. This process is crucial in order to enable patients to benefit directly from the latest scientific findings. Some of the main objectives of translation are: an improvement in patient care, the acceleration of medical progress, individualised medicine, evidence-based practice ( the provision of scientific knowledge for medical decision-making) and the increase of efficiency in healthcare.

The translation of research results bridges gaps between research and clinical practice to ensure that the latest scientific findings are quickly and effectively integrated into the treatment of patients.
