The Medtech & More Hackathon is the perfect platform to develop progressive and innovative solutions together with other creative minds. Together, we will transform today’s innovative ideas into tomorrow’s practical solutions and products.

WHO?

IT experts, nursing staff, doctors, trainees, students and anyone interested in making a difference in the healthcare sector are invited.
The hackathon is free of charge for our hackers, mentors, and sponsors. Catering will be provided. Hacker teams have the opportunity to win a prize. For more information, please see below.

FOR PARTICIPANTS

  • free participation
  • up to 10 challenges in the field of MedTech from Magdeburg - including companies, researchers and clinics
  • work in teams of 3-5 people
  • Food and Drinks included

FOR CHALLENGERS

  • Topics: MedTech – Imaging & Robotics, AR/VR and AI applications and more.
  • Scope: Well-defined challenge or open tech/device exploration -> Software or hardware-based / product design.
  • Data: Must be uploaded to an agreed platform and strictly anonymized (DSGVO). Challengers hold full data liability.
  • Mentoring: At least one mentor (on-site or remote) with clearly communicated availability to answer questions promptly.

The main program of the Hackathon — Magdeburg as well as the pitches of your developed solutions will be in English.

The Medtech Hackathon Magdeburg will take place at Research Campus STIMULATE (Otto-Hahn-Straße 2, 39106 Magdeburg).

Each participant must register individually; there will be no team registration or similar arrangements. We will open the registration soon!
