We are developing the medical technology of tomorrow.
In interdisciplinary teams from the clinic, industry and science, we research and develop solutions and technologies for innovative therapy and diagnostic procedures for image-guided minimally invasive medicine.
Our aim is to develop new, patient-friendly, high-quality and specifically required diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for social diseases in oncology, neurology and cardiology. To this end, doctors from the healthcare sector define the need and interdisciplinary teams research and develop customised solutions that are tested and integrated into patient treatment.
Our vision is to improve the healthcare of today and tomorrow as a research and innovation centre for image-based medicine.
The public-private partnership is formed by Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Siemens Healthineers AG and the STIMULATE Association with over 40 members from the medical technology industry and science.

On the afternoon of April 24th the first generation forum on the topic of “BOOMers retirement – a hit to our society“ took place in the senate hall of the Otto von Guericke university.
The generation forums are a new format in the Magdeburg Science Harbor with the goal of connecting generations, transferring knowledge and fostering interactions.
