Exchange on mobile and robust medical technology
The Research Campus STIMULATE recently welcomed a delegation from the German Armed Forces to Magdeburg for an exchange. During the visit, we showed our guests around the campus, its infrastructure and selected medical technology laboratories, and gave them an insight into our core research and development activities.
The discussions focused in particular on the development of mobile and robust medical technology that can be used reliably to save lives even under adverse conditions. The interdisciplinary exchange highlighted the enormous potential of such technologies – for both military and civilian applications.

Austausch zu mobiler und robuster Medizintechnik
Kürzlich empfing der Forschungscampus STIMULATE eine Delegation der Bundeswehr zu einem Austausch in Magdeburg. Im Rahmen des Besuchs stellten wir den Gästen den Campus, seine Infrastruktur sowie ausgewählte medizintechnische Labore vor und gaben einen Einblick in unsere zentralen Forschungs- und Entwicklungsaktivitäten.
Ein besonderer Schwerpunkt der Gespräche lag auf der Entwicklung mobiler und robuster Medizintechnik, die auch unter widrigen Bedingungen zuverlässig eingesetzt werden kann, um Leben zu retten. Der interdisziplinäre Austausch verdeutlichte das große Potenzial solcher Technologien – sowohl für militärische als auch zivile Einsatzszenarien.
