Students meet companies – successful Meet & Greet
On 20 November, a successful meet and greet event took place at the Research Campus STIMULATE, bringing together students, regional start-ups and companies in the field of medical technology. The event was organised by transPOTENTIAL, a workshop of the transPORT project, and offered numerous students and interested parties the opportunity to gain insights into current projects, visions and career opportunities in an open atmosphere.
At the beginning of the evening, STIMULATE introduced itself as the host and gave a concise overview of the campus's research activities, infrastructure and strong entrepreneurial spirit. The participating companies – including Neoscan Solutions, RAYDIAX, mediMESH, Metratec and BEC Medical – then took to the stage: they presented themselves in short, concise pitches and showed what their teams are currently working on and what topics drive them.
After the presentations, students had ample opportunity to engage in direct discussions with the companies. At the same time, those interested could also find out about their own start-up opportunities at transFORM, another transPORT workshop. The student initiative for medical technology, STIMT, also had its own stand and was able to recruit new members.
Snacks and drinks provided the backdrop for a dynamic mix of networking and knowledge exchange. The event once again highlighted how fruitful the connection between science, innovation and entrepreneurial thinking is at the STIMULATE Campus.
Studierende treffen Firmen - erfolgreiches Meet & Greet
Am 20. November fand am Forschungscampus STIMULATE ein erfolgreiches Meet & Greet statt, das Studierende und regionale Start-ups sowie Unternehmen im Bereich Medizintechnik zusammenbrachte. Die Veranstaltung wurde von transPOTENTIAL, einer Werkstatt des transPORT-Projekts, organisiert und bot zahlreichen Studierenden und Interessierten die Gelegenheit, in offener Atmosphäre Einblicke in aktuelle Projekte, Visionen und Karrieremöglichkeiten zu erhalten.
Zu Beginn des Abends stellte sich STIMULATE als Gastgeber vor und gab einen kompakten Überblick über die Forschungsaktivitäten, die Infrastruktur und den ausgeprägt unternehmerischen Geist des Campus. Im Anschluss erhielten die teilnehmenden Unternehmen – darunter zum Beispiel Neoscan Solutions, RAYDIAX, mediMESH, Metratec und BEC Medical – die Bühne: Sie präsentierten sich in kurzen, prägnanten Pitches und zeigten, woran ihre Teams aktuell arbeiten und welche Themen sie antreiben.
Nach den Vorstellungen bot sich den Studierenden reichlich Gelegenheit, in direkten Gesprächen mit den Unternehmen in Austausch zu treten. Gleichzeitig konnten sich Interessierte auch über eigene Gründungsmöglichkeiten bei transFORM, einer weiteren transPORT-Werkstatt, informieren. Die studentische Initiative für Medizintechnik, STIMT, war ebenfalls mit einem eigenen Stand vertreten und konnte neue Mitglieder gewinnen.
Bei Snacks und Getränken entstand eine dynamische Mischung aus Networking und Wissensaustausch. Das Event verdeutlichte einmal mehr, wie fruchtbar die Verbindung zwischen Wissenschaft, Innovation und unternehmerischem Denken am STIMULATE-Campus ist.
