STIMULATE team SCANATIQ impresses at the Startup Fight Club 2025 in Dessau
On 5 June 2025, Dessau once again became the centre of the start-up scene in Saxony-Anhalt - at the Startup Fight Club, the second largest start-up event in the state. Among the participants: the SCANATIQ project team from the Research Campus STIMULATE, which ventured into the boxing ring with a convincing pitch and took a well-deserved place on the podium in third place.
Robert Kowal presented the innovative concept of SCANATIQ, which is dedicated to optimising medical imaging technology with special wireless MRI coils - with a clear vision, technical depth and great founding spirit. The jury was impressed by the medical benefits, practical relevance and entrepreneurial potential of the project. Participation in the competition was part of the transFORM workshop project, which is funded as part of the transPORT transfer initiative at the Research Campus STIMULATE. The aim is to support research projects with transfer potential at an early stage in the development of viable business models - and to accompany young talents on their way to founding a company.

STIMULATE-Team SCANATIQ überzeugt beim Startup Fight Club 2025 in Dessau
Am 5. Juni 2025 wurde Dessau erneut zum Zentrum der Gründerszene in Sachsen-Anhalt – beim Startup Fight Club, dem zweitgrößten Startup-Event des Landes. Mit dabei: das Projektteam SCANATIQ vom Forschungscampus STIMULATE, das sich mit einem überzeugenden Pitch in den Boxring wagte und mit Platz 3 einen verdienten Platz auf dem Siegerpodest errang.
Robert Kowal präsentierte das innovative Konzept von SCANATIQ, das sich mit speziellen kabellosen MRT-Spulen der Optimierung bildgebender Medizintechnik widmet – mit klarer Vision, technischer Tiefe und großem Gründungsspirit. Die Jury zeigte sich beeindruckt vom medizinischen Nutzen, der Praxisnähe und dem unternehmerischen Potenzial des Projekts. Die Teilnahme am Wettbewerb war Teil des Werkstattprojekts transFORM, das im Rahmen des BMBF-TransferRaums transPORT am Forschungscampus STIMULATE gefördert wird. Ziel ist es, Forschungsprojekte mit Transferpotenzial frühzeitig bei der Entwicklung tragfähiger Geschäftsmodelle zu unterstützen – und junge Talente auf ihrem Weg in die Gründung zu begleiten.
