MRT-Lab
The MRI laboratory, which is also available exclusively for research purposes, is equipped with a Siemens MAGNETOM Skyra clinical 3T MRI scanner with a 70 cm bore (big bore) and a short magnet, making it ideal for image-guided interventions. This device is used for the development and evaluation of minimally invasive medical technology under near-clinical conditions as well as for training and education of physicians or MTAs. Patient-free operation enables reliable planning of studies and experiments, from the basics to phantoms and animal models. This infrastructure is also only available in this form in Magdeburg in Germany.
Das MRT-Labor, das ebenfalls ausschließlich für Forschungszwecke zur Verfügung steht, ist mit einem klinischen 3T-MRT vom Typ Siemens MAGNETOM Skyra mit einer Bohrung von 70 cm (big bore) und einem kurzen Magneten (short magnet) ausgestattet und ist damit optimal geeignet für bildgeführte Interventionen. Dieses Gerät wird für die Entwicklung und Evaluierung minimal-invasiver Medizintechnik unter kliniknahen Bedingungen sowie für Trainings und Schulungen von Ärzten oder MTAs verwendet. Patientenfreier Betrieb ermöglicht zuverlässige Planung von Studien und Versuchen, von den Grundlagen über Phantome bis hin zum Tiermodell. Auch diese Infrastruktur steht in dieser Form in Deutschland nur in Magdeburg zur Verfügung.
