As part of the research and development project "InterMED," an innovative software framework is being developed to enable the seamless integration of various media formats for medical and industrial training and education. This project involves the Research Campus STIMULATE and the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg.

The goal of "InterMED" is to research, develop, and evaluate a platform that facilitates switching between traditional 2D video content, passive and interactive 360° video environments, and virtual reality scenes. By integrating these different media formats, the project aims to create a flexible and comprehensive learning environment that is beneficial for both medical and industrial training purposes.

The implementation of this project is carried out in close collaboration with the SME partner VISUALIMPRESSION and the Otto-von-Guericke-University Magdeburg. The project is designed for a duration of two years and is conducted as part of the INSTANT network. The execution is supported by the network management organization ZPVP Zentrum für Produkt-, Verfahrens- und Prozessinnovation GmbH - Experimentelle Fabrik Magdeburg.

By combining various media formats into a single platform, "InterMED" offers new opportunities for effective and interactive training. The innovative software framework will revolutionize the way training and education are conducted and advance the integration of modern technologies into learning processes.

Im Rahmen des Forschungs- und Entwicklungsprojekts „InterMED“ wird ein innovatives Software-Framework entwickelt, das die nahtlose Kombination unterschiedlicher Medienformate für medizinische und industrielle Aus- und Weiterbildung ermöglicht. Beteiligt an diesem Projekt sind der Forschungscampus STIMULATE sowie die Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg.

Das Ziel von „InterMED“ ist die Erforschung, Entwicklung und Evaluation einer Plattform, die das Wechseln zwischen klassischen 2D-Videoinhalten, passiven und interaktiven 360°-Videoumgebungen sowie Virtual-Reality-Szenen ermöglicht. Durch die Integration dieser verschiedenen Medienformate soll eine flexible und umfassende Lernumgebung geschaffen werden, die sowohl für medizinische als auch für industrielle Trainingszwecke von Nutzen ist.

Die Realisierung erfolgt in enger Zusammenarbeit mit dem KMU-Partner VISUALIMPRESSION und der Otto-von-Guericke-Universität Magdeburg. Das Projekt ist auf eine Laufzeit von zwei Jahren ausgelegt und wird aus dem Netzwerk INSTANT hervorgehend durchgeführt. Die Umsetzung wird durch die Netzwerkmanagementeinrichtung ZPVP Zentrum für Produkt-, Verfahrens- und Prozessinnovation GmbH - Experimentelle Fabrik Magdeburg begleitet.

Durch die Kombination von verschiedenen Medienformaten in einer einzigen Plattform bietet „InterMED“ neue Möglichkeiten für eine effektive und interaktive Weiterbildung. Das innovative Software-Framework wird die Art und Weise, wie Schulungen und Trainings durchgeführt werden, revolutionieren und die Integration moderner Technologien in die Ausbildung vorantreiben.
