In interdisciplinary teams from clinic, industry and science, we research and develop solutions and technologies for image-guided minimally invasive medicine.
Our aim are innovative, patient-friendly, high-quality and specifically required diagnostic and therapeutic procedures for diseases in oncology, neurology and cardiology. To this end, clinicians define the need and interdisciplinary teams research and develop customised solutions that are tested and integrated into patient treatment.
Our vision is to improve healthcare of today and tomorrow as a research and innovation centre for image-based medicine.
The public-private partnership is formed by Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg, Siemens Healthineers AG and the STIMULATE Association with over 40 members from the medical technology industry and science.
Students and early-career researchers from the Otto von Guericke University Magdeburg’s Research Campus STIMULATE returned from the IEEE International Microwave Symposium (IMS) 2026 in Boston with a total of five awards.
